An environmental awareness must be part of our daily operations
Jasztex’s nonwoven products for the bedding, furniture, filtration, architectural and apparel markets are all made out of a high level of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Insulation and other products are made from recycled textile wastes. What is PET ? What is recycled waste ? These are the elements of a circular economy philosophy.
CIRCULAR ECONOMY
By having a circular economy philosophy, Jasztex and its business partners reduce their environmental footprint daily. We give another life to post-industrial as well as post-consumer production materials returned by our customers and suppliers. From scraps, we make nonwoven fiber products !
What is polyethylene terephthalate (PET) ?
PET is the most common thermoplastic polymer resin of the polyester family. Because of the recyclability of this material and the relative abundance of post-consumer waste as bottles, PET is a competitive and rational choice for manufacturers. Jasztex uses PET fibers in all of its blends and all have a very high level of recycled PET (water and carbonated soft drink bottling).
The advantages of Recycled PET
Examples : PET layers for mattress
